2025 Festival Guest Artists
Kelsey Taylor
Raised in the wilds of Eastern Washington, Kelsey Taylor attended Loyola Marymount University, earning a degree in Film Production and minors in both Film Studies and Music. Kelsey's career began as a cinematographer and camera assistant, building a strong foundation for visual storytelling before transitioning into directing. Her breakthrough sci-fi short, ALIEN: SPECIMEN, was created through an initiative with 20th Century and has accumulated over 6 million views. Kelsey's debut feature film, TO KILL A WOLF, is a modern reimagining of Little Red Riding Hood told through the lens of sexual grooming. The film premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival in 2024 and opened in cinemas in the summer of 2025. Kelsey is a DGA member and selected by Film Independent as one of six fellows in their 2024 Episodic Directing Intensive. Her next project, THE BAD THINGS, was an Academy Nicholl semifinalist and explores the depths of shame through the complex relationship between a teacher and his student.
Adam Lee
Adam is a Los Angeles based cinematographer and a member of The International Cinematographers Guild Local 600. A cinematographer by trade and a filmmaker by compulsion, Adam loves working across all genres and collaborating with friends. Adam is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University where he won Honorable Mention for the ASC Heritage award. Born and raised in San Diego, he is an avid surfer and connoisseur of breakfast burritos. When not on set he enjoys taking photos of his adorable cat named Blue.
Alex Wilson
A screenwriter and film professor from Arkansas, Alex’s writing reflects a strong appreciation for the folk and fairy tales of his childhood. Before graduating LMU’s School of Film and Television, he was also selected for the International Writers in Galway Program where he cut his writing teeth in some of Ireland’s most prestigious pubs. He’s worked on the support staff of “Marvel’s Jessica Jones” and “Killer Women,” wrote outlines for Pauly Shore, and recently placed as a finalist in the Final Draft Big Break contest among other advanced placements at the Austin Film Festival and Nicholl Fellowships. He lives in Fayetteville, Arkansas with his wife, daughter, and son who are far too patient with him.
